My roles include the development of Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) on leadership and governance for cocoa cooperative unions in Ghana; and the provision of organizational capacity strengthening training for nine (9) cocoa cooperative unions (comprising 22, 499 farmers) in the Ashanti, Central, Eastern and Western regions of Ghana.

Providing technical support to the European Union – Ghana Agriculture Programme (EUGAP) and GIZ market-oriented agriculture program (MOAP) to improve production for some 6400 smallholders in the north west of Ghana. This include building the technical and business capacity of staff of MoFA, Department of Agriculture (DoA), lead farmers among others. I conduct periodic monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of the field activities to gauge progress.

Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA)

Provided technical support for the management of 15 AGRA and USAID supported projects in Ghana focusing on policy change for improved seed and agricultural sector; 

Managed M&E, and learning processes to provide feedback for decision making; and reporting on USAID and AGRA supported projects, among others.

Examined the entire covid-19 response and strategy, by assessing the components of the project to determine relevance, coherence (accountability), effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact of the achieved outcomes as well as pull out key lessons learned and recommendations for adjustment in future humanitarian projects. Geographically covering the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Volta, Western, Northern, North East, Upper West, and Upper East regions of Ghana.

The assignment involved the development of three (3) Gender Sensitive Training manuals on good agricultural practices, business management skills and quality management, Facilitation of ToT for Agricultural Field Extension Agents in Northern Ghana and designing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of Gender Action Learning Systems (GALS) in six districts.

Associate Consultant, Strategic Enterprise Development Solutions (SEDS)

Worked with SEDS in 2013 and 2014 on business/enterprise development for women groups in the shea value chain in the Upper West and Upper East region of Ghana on an SNV Ghana strengthening producer groups into societies and cooperatives unions to aid the establishment of effective supply chain relationships where these co-operative unions are able to independently engage with formal agribusinesses (both international and local). We assisted with the development of training materials and also facilitated direct business development trainings with support from ORGISS in the Upper East region, PRUDA and WIDO in Upper West region of Ghana.
